How to verify AR coating durability in glass processing

1.What we can do: Environmental stress test
Damp heat(85/85): 2000 hours in 85°C and 85% RH(relative humidity), verify when transmittance loss below 1%.
Xenon arc weathering: Full spectrum sunlight simulation. which is more reliable than UV only in outdoor purpose.
Salt sparay: Commonly for coastal or high humidity projects, it's for corrosion resistance checking.

2.Mechanical and chemical checks
Abrasion: Use steel wool, 1000g load and 10000 cycles. Water contact angle should stay stable.

Hardness: Pencil hardness base on 4H or above

Chemical sport tests: Acid rain(PH 4.0) and standard cleaning agents. No visible flim peeling.

3.Does it actually stick?
Corss cut adhesion(ISO9211-4): Grid cut + tape pull. Target: Class 0(no squares lifted).
Boiling water soak: High reliability jobs applied like automotive, aerospace.
