Cleaning

Use isopropyl alcohol – 70% to 90% IPA with lint-free wipes. No acetone, no harsh solvents. They can attack coatings.

Gentle pressure – UTG is thin. Press too hard during cleaning and you risk micro-cracks. Wipe lightly, let the solvent do the work.

One direction – Don't scrub in circles. Linear motion across the surface. Reduces risk of scratching.

Dry immediately – Don't let cleaning solution evaporate on the surface. It leaves residues that affect bonding later.

Q:What's the foldable glass and difference between regular glass?

A:The foldable glass is a kind of ultra thin flexible glass for fodable phones/tablets, designed to bend repeatedly without break. Dislike regular glass(Gorilla Glass for example), it's around 30 microns thick(thinner than a human hair) and chemically strengthened. It balances flexibility with glass-like scratch resistance and clarity-way better than early foldables' plastic/CPI films.

Q:Can foldable glass really durable and if it can handle daily use?

A: Yes, it is but not indestrutible.

The most of UTG withstands 200,000+ folds(Around 5 years of 100 times daily uses) in perfect condition.

It's scratch-resistant (~Mohs 6, handles keys/coins), but hard drops on the fold or sharp impacts can crack it.

Extreme temperatures (too cold/hot) also make it more brittle.

Q:Why foldable phones with UTG still have a protective film on top?

A:That film is part of the design, not a throwaway layer.

UTG needs extra protection from micro-scratches, dust, and minor impacts- the thin polymer film works with the glass.

Don't peel it (can damage glass/touch sensitivity), get it replaced by the manufacturer if scratched/bubbly (some offer free one-time replacement).

Q:I heard foldable glass breaks easily in cold weather-Is that true?

A:It's not that it breaks easily but cold temperatures do make it more fragile.
