1.The market is heating up
The super hydrophobic display glass market jumped from 1.53 billion USD(2025) to 1.84 billion(2026), which is 20.3% growth. It's expect 3.82 billion USD in 2030.
Drivers? More touchscreens in cars, more premium phones and tablets.
2.PFAS-free coatings are here
Henkel launched two new AF coatings in April, which is completely PFAS-free. One for plastic displays, one for glass. The glass version hits 9H hardness and survives 5,000 abrasion cycles.
Regulations are tightening. This is the direction.
