What's AR glass and AG glass?

AR glass

It also called eye friendly glass, the purpose is to reduce reflect and improve transmittance by adding a layer of coating on cover glass surface.

AG glass

It also called anti reflection glass or anti glare glass. The purpose is to reduce strong reflect light or direct light. Through "rough" treatment on glass surface to make glass gloss surface(flat mirror like) into non-reflect matt surface(uneven rough surface). The best durability is chemical etch AG glass, which makes reflective rate from 8% down to 1% below, which use technology to create clear visual effect.

From appearance, AR glass is gloss transparent glass, and AG glass is foggy on surface matt effect glass. AR glass mainly applied in high clarity and transmittance like display cabinet, optical instruments, medical devices etc, which need to reduce color loss or difference applications. The AG glass mainly used in soft light applications like outdoors, hospitals, food processings, expose sun conditions etc., which surface peel off not allowed and touch conditions like touch screen, TV walls.

We need to choose base on actual needs and applications, we also need to consider glass hardness, impact resistance etc., to make sure best performance and results.
