The Cover Glass Production Line in GL Glass Become Busy Again
Aug 24, 2026
The update production status in GL Glass
Since the beginning of July, GL Glass has experienced a seasonal slowdown in overseas orders, as customers in Europe and North America began their annual summer holiday closures. The overall order volume declined by approximately 15%, with the cover glass lens product line being the most affected. This adjustment aligns with typical industry seasonality, as many international clients schedule plant maintenance and employee vacations during this period.

GL Glass took full advantage of this lull to accelerate internal production line optimization and yield improvement initiatives, while maintaining close communication with customers to prepare for the post-holiday demand surge.
As of late August, with overseas clients gradually returning to work, order momentum has rebounded significantly. Now approaching September, the company's order books are filling up rapidly across all product lines. Production schedules are becoming increasingly tight, and GL Glass has implemented overtime shifts and flexible production arrangements to ensure on-time delivery for urgent orders.
Traditionally, the second half of the year marks the peak season for consumer electronics and optical components. We are seeing a notable uptick in client inquiries and order placements. We remain cautiously optimistic about our shipment performance through the end of the third quarter and into the fourth quarter.
Looking ahead, GL Glass will continue to monitor global supply chain dynamics and optimize capacity allocation to meet the growing demand for high-precision cover glass lenses and related optical solutions.
