Step	Why It Matters
Use isopropyl alcohol – 70% to 90% IPA with lint-free wipes.	Acetone and other harsh solvents attack optical coatings and nano layers. Stick with IPA. It cleans without damage.
Gentle pressure.	UTG is thin. Really thin. Press hard during cleaning and you introduce micro-cracks you can't even see until lamination fails. Wipe light. Let the solvent lift the contamination.
One direction.	Circular scrubbing drags particles across the surface. Linear motion pushes them off the edge. Reduces scratch risk significantly.
Dry immediately.	Don't let IPA air-dry on the glass. Evaporation leaves behind a residue film. That film kills adhesive bonding strength later. Wipe dry while still wet.
