A:Appliance tempered glass is heat‑strengthened, 4‑5 times stronger than regular float glass. It breaks into small blunt fragments for safety and supports silk‑screen printing, coating and precise edge finishing for fridge, oven and control panel applications.
Q:Can tempered appliance glass be used for high‑temperature cooktop panels?
A: Standard tempered appliance glass isn't suitable for direct high‑heat cooktop zones. For induction / ceramic hobs, glass‑ceramic is required for excellent thermal‑shock resistance. Tempered glass works for oven outer doors, fridge and washer panels only.
