AF Coating: Anti-Fingerprint for a Cleaner Surface

AF stands for Anti-fingerprint technology. This process uses vacuum evaporation to apply a nanoscale coating of SiO2 combined with AF materials (such as DON, M4, and Dow Corning AF) onto the glass surface. Inspired by the lotus leaf's self-cleaning effect, this coating significantly reduces the surface tension of the glass. This reduces dust contact area by up to 90%, resulting in excellent hydrophobicity, oil resistance, and anti-fingerprint properties, keeping display screens clean and clear for longer.

Core Features:

Strong Stain Resistance: Effectively resists fingerprints and oil, making it easy to clean.

Smooth Texture: The specially treated surface feels smooth and offers improved scratch resistance.

Ultra-Thin Layer: The coating is extremely thin, with minimal impact on optical performance and product texture.

High Durability: Maintains stable performance even after long-term use.

Applications: Display screens for electronic products like smartphones, tablets, and TVs, as well as LED screens and automotive windshields.

AR Coating: Anti-Reflection for Enhanced Clarity

AR coating uses nanoscale optical film technology to increase glass light transmittance by 2%–3%. It offers a service life of up to 25 years and features anti-condensation properties and increased hardness, making it particularly suitable for harsh environments.

Key Advantages:

Water Repellent: Achieves a water contact angle exceeding 110°, causing water droplets to slide off easily when the glass is tilted.

Easy Cleaning: Dirt and stains can be removed effortlessly, reducing cleaning workload by up to 80%.

Application & Identification: Widely used in display screens, photo frames, and more. A simple way to identify AR glass is to place two pieces of glass over a screen or image; the one with better clarity and less reflection is the AR glass.

AG Glass: Anti-Glare for Eye Comfort

AG, or Anti-Glare glass, is treated through chemical etching or spraying to turn its smooth, reflective surface into a matte finish. This increases surface roughness and creates a diffuse reflection, effectively reducing glare and reflections.

Common Applications: Outdoor advertising screens, ATM machines, POS terminals, and other displays used in bright light conditions.

Quick Identification: Place the glass under a fluorescent light. If the light tube's reflection appears diffused and blurry, that side has the AG treatment. If the tube's outline is sharp and clear, that is the non-AG side.
