The proper way to maintain glass edging machine

In these days, the most glass factories use glass edging machines for processing. The fully automatic ones already became the backbone of glass production. Dislike traditional edgers, these machines are fully automated-Just into the glass design, the job can be done in no time. A single machine can deal multiple steps including edging, chamfering and polishing, which deliver a finished product in one go. But no doubt such equipment isn't cheap, so how you can maintain and use it to extend its lifespan correctly?

1.Daily machine cleaning. Any debris which is nothing to do with production should get rid of. It's ideal once a day.

2.Regularly change out the circulating water, so glass powder doesn't clog the pump and pipes.

3.Chains, gears and lead screws on edging machine needs regular grease. Keep them lubed on a setting schedule.

4.Whenever machine isn't under use status, keep the area around dry to prevent rust from forming.

5.From time to time check the moving parts' clearances. If gaps too big, the machining accuracy will be suffered.

6.When small glass pieces in process, always make sure the clamps are perfectly flat and the glass held firmly and evenly.
