The expansion comes as GL Glass continues to secure increased orders from international clients across the touchscreen, smart control device, and home appliance sectors. With over 13 years of industry experience and a 21,000m² manufacturing facility, the company is reinforcing its commitment to meeting customer needs through enhanced production capabilities.
The newly expanded silk-screen printing line incorporates advanced large-format ceramic ink printing technology, capable of handling glass panels with high registration accuracy and superior durability. The tempering furnace expansion enhances the company's physical strengthening capacity, enabling processing of glass thicknesses from 1.1mm to 6mm with improved flatness control and surface stress performance exceeding 100 MPa. This is particularly critical for medium to large-size cover glass applications (21.5 to 110 inches), where thermal processing precision directly impacts optical quality and product reliability.
The investment follows GL Glass's established track record of serving international markets with comprehensive processing capabilities, including AG (anti-glare), AR (anti-reflective), AF (anti-fingerprint), and AM (anti-microbial) surface treatments. With the addition of new equipment, the company's monthly production capacity is expected to increase substantially, supporting both domestic and export orders.
