Japan launches "matt premium" cooktop glass
Nippon Electric Glass(NEG) developed a new matt finish glass panel for stovetops. It looks like frosted paint but is very durable. It can hide built in display inside the glass too.
Chinese UTG(ultra thin glass) breaks technology monopoly
Longhai Glass started mass prouction of ultra thin electronic glass 1.1mm below. The products already used in ITO conductive glass and car displays. Before that, CHina relied heavily on imports for this kind of high end glass. Now, the local production is speeding up.
